The Monash Professional Year Program is a 44-week course that comprises two main parts:

32-Week Classroom Lessons:

During this period, students work on their confidence and self-awareness. The program prepares them to face the real-life Australian work scenario by providing face-to-face classroom lectures, exercises, assignments, seminars, and workshops. Students are taught about Australian work ethics, etiquette and expectations, business communication skills, networking skills, grooming tips, and strategies to grow their new professional forefront. 12-Week Internship Program:

The Professional Year in Accounting includes a 12-week internship program that provides students with a platform to understand and learn about the Australian job industry. The internship program prepares students to mingle with industry leaders, attend events and enter business-specific associations, build a strong professional network, enhance their employment prospects, gain relevant work experience and confidence to take responsibility, initiate tasks, stay positive, and input quality into each work they do. Program Fees

The Monash Professional Year Program fees differ based on the chosen field of study. For the Accounting program, the fees amount to $14,000, while the Engineering program fees are $15,000, and the Information Technology program fees are $15,500. Eligibility Criteria for Accounting Promotion:

• Completed an Australian accounting degree (minimum two years duration) in the last 12 months.

• Positive skills assessment from CPA, CA, or IPA.

• IELTS (or equivalent) result with a minimum score of 6.0 in all four competencies.

• Obtained or applied for a subclass 485 Temporary Graduate Visa.

Eligibility criteria for ACS PYP Promotion:

• Obtained or applied for a subclass 485 Temporary Graduate Visa with at least 12 months left on the visa from the commencement of the Professional Year Program.

• Successfully attained an ICT-related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher from an Australian tertiary institution, and a minimum of two years full-time study in Australia prior to commencing PYear per the Australian Study Requirement (ASR).

• Meet minimum English language requirements demonstrating DHA’s Competent English, and hold a current English Language Test result undertaken within the three years immediately prior to the date of PYear class commencement.

• Undertake an application interview to ensure program suitability, shared internship expectations, and completion viability.
